Read our new white paper: Reaching More Families: Technology-Enabled Developmental Therapy

Our clinical model was developed at Boston Children's Hospital by leading developmental experts and is grounded in evidence-based practices. Peer-reviewed studies support our model, so you can refer with confidence knowing your patients are receiving care that meets your standard.
We view ourselves as a true extension of your practice. Our team keeps you informed throughout the care journey with transparent, closed-loop communication, so you stay connected to your patient's progress without adding to your workload.

No formal diagnosis required. Refer any patient where you have a concern about developmental progress.

Families are contacted immediately and evaluations are scheduled at their earliest convenience. We handle the coordination so your staff does not have to.

Your patient is matched with an experienced Ladder clinician and begins a personalized treatment plan, delivered virtually in their home environment.

You receive regular progress updates throughout the care journey. Our closed-loop communication keeps you connected without requiring you to chase information down.

No formal diagnosis is necessary prior to referring a child to Ladder Health. We evaluate children based on developmental concerns from various sources and offer a proactive alternative to the 'wait-and-see' approach, addressing early developmental issues before they escalate.
Early intervention is critical in addressing developmental concerns, and as a pediatrician, your recommendation carries significant weight. When discussing Ladder Health with families, you can emphasize that our virtual-first model makes high-quality developmental therapy more accessible, reducing common barriers such as long wait times and geographic limitations.
A simple way to introduce Ladder is:
"Based on what I’ve observed today, I believe your child would really benefit from further evaluation and possibly some extra support. There are different ways to approach this, and one option is Ladder Health, which offers virtual screenings and therapy. Sometimes the hardest part is getting started, and this can be an inexpensive and easy way to get your child plugged in. And the quicker we get started, the better the chances for early progress. I can send a referral today, and their team follows up with you directly.”

"“I appreciate the ease of use and amazing help and insight that actually work! More valuable and productive visits than in person appointments.”

“I spoke to one mom who is working with your company today and she had wonderful things to say about it. She was unsure because her son is autistic but said she is watching him actually mimic and try to say the words.”

“We love love LOVE our therapist. We have made more progress in the few months working with her than the 1+ year we had with our previous therapist.”
